Introducing Amy Frazier

I'm very pleased to introduce our readers to HC&A's new Student Assistant, Amy Frazier. Amy was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Dallas, TX. She attended Marlboro College in Vermont, where she earned a B.A. in Comparative Cultural History and Film Studies. Her interest in documentary film led her to the London Film School, where she earned graduate certification. She moved to Portland five years ago, and started    in 2011.

Amy will be an essential part of our revamped digitization program in HC&A. Her first major project will be creating metadata for items  in our Historical Images Collection. High-quality metadata allows our users to find what they need in the Digital Resources Library. Amy's work will allow us to share hundreds more archival images online.
