Kim Jensen lecture on Women in the Progressive Era, February 2nd

This event is likely to be of interest to many of our readers. Kimberly Jensen, Professor of History and Gender Studies at Western Oregon University, will be presenting a lecture on Oregon women in the Progressive era as part of the Oregon History 101 series at McMenamin's Kennedy School. Kim's lecture will be on Monday, February 2nd at 7:00pm. Get there early so you can get dinner, drinks, and a good seat!

Kim's lecture will draw from her research on the People's Institute and Free Dispensary, a Progressive-era effort to improve the health of underserved populations in Portland. Kim lectured on a related topic as part of our History of Medicine Society lecture series in 2013.
