From Sara Piasecki (former head of HC&A, now photo archivist at the Anchorage Museum), we received news of the Alaska Mental Health History Project Jukebox. The project collects 30 interviews with those who have contributed to mental health in the state, and "offers insight into the long struggle to provide quality mental health services in Alaska from the people who participated."
Of particular note for the OHSU community is the interview with Dr. Joseph Bloom, a faculty member in the Department of psychiatry and former Dean of the School of Medicine. Before his time at OHSU, Dr. Bloom worked to establish mental health services for rural and native Alaskans. The project will also be of interest to those researching Morningside Hospital.

The graphic was created by L.E. Baskow of the Photography and Graphic Design department. The calendars can be picked up in OHSU Educational Communications.
