School of Medicine News "From the Archives"

In addition to this blog, HC&A staff undertake many other writing projects for outreach and educational purposes. One of the most popular is the "From the Archives" feature that runs in the OHSU School of Medicine News. Each month, Karen or I writes a short article on a historical topic of interest to the School of Medicine's audience.

The current article focuses on Esther Pohl Lovejoy's life in Alaska, highlighting images we recently added to the Digital Resources Library. Other recent pieces have focused on Dean David Baird, The University-State Tuberculosis Hospital (a.k.a. the Campus Services Building) and the State Board of Medical Examiners. The SOM News Website maintains links to articles back to 2010.
