History of disability site from English Heritage

Last week, English Heritage launched A History of Disability: From 1100 to the Present Day, a major new online resource on disability history. Images and narrative reveal how the disabled lived, how they were perceived by society, and how they influenced the built environment for 900+ years of English history.

The content is rich, diverse, and in-depth, making it a terrific resource for those interested in disability history, as well as the history of mental health, and even in the social history of architecture.
