Yesterday's mail brought us copies of Kimberly Jensen's new book, Oregon's Doctor to the World: Esther Pohl Lovely and a Life in Activism, hot off the University of Washington presses!
As regular readers of this blog know, Kim's research drew heavily on HC&A's collections of Esther Pohl Lovejoy's papers, photographs and artifacts. We are enormously proud to have supported Kim's research, and congratulate her on the publication of her second book.
Oregon Historical Society is hosting Kim's book launch on October 22, at 7pm. Admission is free, but requires an RSVP to 503-306-5214. Hope to see you there!
