Oregon Historical Society is hosting a new exhibit that's a must-see for anyone interested in the history of health sciences in our region.
"100 Years at Legacy Emanuel" celebrates the centennial of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, a central part of health care in the Portland area since 1912. The exhibit features photographs, artifacts, archival records, personal stories and a timeline of Legacy Emanuel history. The exhibit was coordinated by Morgen Young, a leading public historian of health care in Oregon.
The exhibit opened on July 14 and runs through December. We are looking forward to attending, and we congratulate Morgen and our colleagues at OHS and Legacy Emanuel!
