Transplantation turns fifty, Part Two

In June, we told you about a donation of materials from a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the organ transplantation at OHSU which focused on the Heart Transplant Program. Well, today we can tell you that we've received materials from the second anniversary celebration, this one Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Kidney Transplantation at OHSU, held October 1-2, 2009.

In addition to some digital photographs, Division Manager Michelle Bechtholdt deposited the program and dinner menu from the evening event and the materials from the weekend "state of the art educational conference."
