Help design an archival web site!

A unique opportunity for users of our online services is now available: volunteer a few minutes of your time to complete a survey on researcher needs for the Northwest Digital Archives! To circumvent malicious usage of the survey instrument, we're asking that you email us for a link to the survey, if you're interested in participating. Please email homref[at]ohsu.edu for the information--and thanks in advance to the willing!

Details:
The Northwest Digital Archives (NWDA) Needs You!

Our archives, the OHSU Historical Collections & Archives, is a member of a regional organization, the Northwest Digital Archives (NWDA) (http://nwda.wsulibs.wsu.edu), which provides enhanced access to information about archives in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. As a member of this consortium, we are able to provide access to our collections to researchers such as yourself.

In order to improve these online services and help design a future system that will offer much expanded access to digitized archival collections across the Northwest, the NWDA is conducting interviews with people who have been researchers at participating repositories.

Interviews will last 45 minutes to one hour and all interviewees will get a $20.00 Amazon or iTunes gift certificate. You will be shown different websites and asked to comment on the functionality and you will also be asked about the content you would like to see digitized. Your name and contact information will be kept strictly private and will not be revealed in any way when results of the study are released to NWDA members and used to help improve services.

We hope that you will help us design the future system. If you are interested, please [email us as directed above] to indicate your interest. Thank you!
